Part of the Advanced Inmate Medical Management vision statement is to provide the most cost effective electronic medical record in the U.S. Our DetainEMR product has been in facilities that range in size from 20 beds to 1000 beds and has been implemented in an affordable, customized manner. DetainEMR web interface provides an extensible platform on which patient records, medication administration, task-lists and other scenarios and features are built. DetainEMR web interface is a member site of the farm which includes web frontend server, domain controller, and SQL database server. Web interface works within the framework of two operating system components: Internet Information Services (IIS) and ASP.NET, which provide core services for Hypertext Transfer Protocol, process management, and programmability. In IIS, a web application acts as both a container for website and process isolation boundary. A deployment of DetainEMR web interface includes three types of web applications in IIS:
- A Central Administration site web application that handles the administration of website and of the farm running SharePoint Products and Technologies.
- A service web application that enables key services spanning the website.
- Run time web applications that handle user requests.

Deployment Services consist of classes with a “hands-on” live training website, group training to targeted audiences (officers, jail administration, nurses, mental health staff, doctors, and other), on-the-job training (medication pass with offline MAR, sick call process and medical operations with nurses and doctors), “train the trainer” (which includes anyone that jail administration would like for us to train in order for them to train other staff at the present or in the future), education to trainees to maintain security of the EMR system and all offline programming and training materials such as Quick Reference Guides, Troubleshooting Guide, Back-up Procedures, On-Call list and complete Training Manual.

In order to efficiently operate the DetainEMR offline Software, it is critical to implement the hardware technology required to maximize the speed, security and performance of the medication distribution process. Below are our minimum specifications and recommendations for hardware required to operate the DetainEMR offline software. These specifications are intended as a guide to help our clients to choose efficient hardware for DetainEMR use.
Portable computer (Laptop/Tablet for MAR dist.):- Minimum Processor requirements: Intel i5 10th Gen or equivalent
- Minimum Processor requirements: Intel i5 10th Gen or equivalent
- Minimum RAM requirements : 16GB
- Minimum Hard disk space : 500 GB
- Operating system requirements: Only Windows OS. Versions Windows 10 and higher.
- Accessories: Mouse, signature pad.
- Fast, 60ppm / 120ipm scanning in color, grayscale and monochrome
- 80-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)
- Advanced paper handling technology for the ultimate in feeding reliability
- Scanner Central Admin Suite
Wireless Access point or Wireless router (whichever is appropriate for the network environment) -
The facility’s jail management system (JMS) needs to interface (“bridge”) with DetainEMR’s system before the implementation of DetainEMR. The ability to do so will allow the distribution of data and inmate information from the JMS to DetainEMR.

Data entry of medical records is to be completed prior to the “Go Live” date of DetainEMR. AIMM will provide training and oversight to ensure appropriate scanning and data entry is complete.

Web interface hosting and maintenance includes domain name, storage and backup of the data. DetainEMR web application is hosted in a secure datacenter. Datacenter maintains low latency and high availability for the end user.
We have established a first-class high-level security environment that is intended to protect against potential threats and disasters while offering stable 24/7 operation.

To cover the cost of ongoing maintenance and development, technical support, incidental expenses, and 24/7 helpdesk support, a separate per diem rate determined per inmate per day will be assessed for each inmate housed in the facility in excess of or below the contracted ADP.

AIMM operates a 24 hour/7 day-a-week telephone, email & remote support service that is staffed to handle issues or questions related to the EMR system. Phone calls are handled directly by our knowledgeable staff for a quick and accurate response.

There is a monthly charge per user account. Each user account gives the ability to use the web portion of the product, including progress notes, inmate info, medication administration, opening charts, and more. The fee covers maintenance and support costs of components required to support user accounts as well.
