MAR

The Offline MAR is a database used to document medication administration without the use of the internet. Information on the Offline MAR is synced from the medication orders that are entered in the detainee’s chart on the website. Permanent medication pass documentation from the Offline MAR is stored on the website in the Medication Distribution Grid after each sync.

Some features included in the Offline MAR include the following:

• Security enforced with encryption and username/password entry
• Active/inactive medication distribution sessions
• Detainee information, cell location and photographs automatically populated from the website
• Initials clearly marked in the distribution grid, as well as refusals, omissions, additional notes and late medication pass notes
• Refusals are documented by detainee signing a signature pad
• Offline flow sheets are available for every detainee, regardless of medication status for vital signs, wound care, segregation rounds, and blood sugars
• Validation process to ensure no medications are omitted
• PRN or “as needed” functionality to document medications that are not routine
• Option to initial all medications administered in one step
